Energy Coaching
Managing energy costs successfully requires an understanding of exactly where energy is being consumed, down to the per load level. The way utility bills are set out is confusing. Depending on the rate and plan, information is difficult to decipher. Consumption can vary significantly month to month and often readings are estimates only. The information energy retailers provide does not show the fine detail required for best practice energy management. Understanding the need for businesses to effectively manage their energy costs, Energy Solution Providers has developed the Four Pillars of energy management and a coaching programme to help you implement best practice energy management.
We look forward to working with you to permanently eliminate energy inefficiencies in your business. The following explains how we can assist your business to become an energy management champion.
What is energy management coaching?
Energy management coaches are professionals working in the energy/utilities sector. They are recognised by the industry as having a strong understanding of all elements of energy management best practice and the ability to assist organisations with the implementation of their energy management programmes. Your coach will have had success in installing energy management systems providing measured and definable results. Your coach will be willing to help you implement the Energy Solution Providers’ Four Pillars of energy management which are:
- Commitment and leadership;
- Understanding energy consumption;
- Planning and implementing;
- Monitoring and reporting.
How will your coach assist you?
Your coach will assist you and your energy management team to develop the skills and strategies needed to implement and run a best practice energy management programme. Your coach will do this through:
- Having the depth and breadth of knowledge to help clients at various stages of energy management programme integration, including knowledge of appropriate instructional strategies.
- Alignment of coaching with company goals, initiatives, and priorities.
- Conducting a review of the energy management initiatives you have already undertaken.
- Showing you how to improve on what you are already doing using new technologies where required.
- Communicating with the energy management team to get an understanding of their skill set and current needs.
- Assisting the energy management team to build the required skills to self-manage a data-rich real time energy system.
